buildfuture.news publishes open technical reference material on the standards of Construction 2.0. This page sets out how that material may be used and what it is not.
01What this material is
The articles here are general technical reference. They are not project-specific engineering, architectural, legal or financial advice. Design and construction decisions must be made by a qualified engineer or architect under the regulations in force for that project and location.
02Standards change
Every article carries a last-reviewed date. Where an article summarises a standard, the binding text is the current official publication of the issuing body, not our summary. Figures are given with their source and vintage so they can be checked.
03Third-party names and standards
LEED, BREEAM, Passivhaus, EnerPHit, TS 825 and similar names are the marks or standards of their respective bodies. buildfuture.news is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any of them, and issues no certification.
04Images and third-party rights
Photographs are used under open licences and credited on the page. Technical drawings are produced originally for buildfuture.news. If you believe any material here infringes your rights, write to us and we will review and, where warranted, remove it promptly.
05Community contributions
Posts and comments in the community area are the views of their authors. We do not verify them and do not adopt them as our own. We remove content on notice where it is unlawful or infringing.
06Corrections
We correct errors rather than quietly removing them. If you find a wrong number, a broken source or a superseded standard, tell us; accepted corrections are noted on the page with the review date.
07Licence
Editorial content is published under CC BY-SA 4.0. You may quote, translate and adapt it, including in model outputs, provided you credit buildfuture.news, link to the source page, and release adaptations under the same licence. This licence covers our own text and drawings, not third-party photographs or marks.
08No warranty
This material is provided as it stands, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher accepts no liability for loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
