Organic waste in landfill emits methane 28× stronger than CO₂. Bokashi handles cooked food in 14 days indoors; worm bins are odourless; hot piles kill pathogens above 55 °C.

Choose by what you throw away. Bokashi ferments cooked food and dairy in a sealed bucket in 14 days but still needs soil to finish. Worm bins handle raw scraps continuously and produce the best output. Hot piles need volume — about 1 m³ — to exceed 55 °C and sanitise.
