Greywater reuse: showers and sinks irrigating the garden
Greywater is 50–80% of household discharge. Branched-drain and constructed-wetland systems return it to planting beds without pumps, chlorine or permits in most jurisdictions.

Keep it simple and keep it moving: untreated greywater should reach soil within 24 hours, below mulch, never sprayed. Branched-drain systems have no pump, no filter and nothing to fail. Exclude kitchen sink and nappy wash, and choose salt-free, boron-free detergents or the garden pays for it within a season.
