Foamed glass gravel insulates at 0.08 W/mK, drains, carries load and never rots — a single material replacing sub-base, insulation and vapour control under a slab.

Foamed glass gravel is the quiet one: 0.08 W/mK, capillary-breaking, load-bearing, rot-proof and made from bottles. Under a slab it replaces hardcore, insulation and often the vapour layer, which removes two site trades and a whole class of detailing mistakes.
