KITHOMEX integrates the full material stack
The Istanbul practice moves BioSIP, ReedStrand and Bio-Cell into its standard detail library.
KITHOMEX has rewritten its standard wall, floor and roof details around the BioSIP stack. The practical consequence is that a junction drawing now shows one panel where three trades used to meet, and the number of interface details fell from 34 to 12.
Fewer details means fewer site decisions, and site decisions are where thermal bridges are born. The office reports a 40% drop in RFIs on the first two projects using the library.
The detail library is published as a technical contribution, not as a product catalogue: dimensions, tolerances and failure modes are included, and any studio can copy them into their own drawing set.
